Day 1: Milan

Day 2: Milan

The Last Supper of Jesus

Today you will visit the most important sites of Milan: the Duomo, La Scala (from outside) and then you will arrive in Santa Maria delle Grazie.

Leonardo da Vinci has painted the Last Supper in the refectory of the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie at the behest of Ludovico il Moro, in a span of time ranging from 1494 to 1497. In 1999, after more than twenty years of work, it was concluded that the last conservative intervention by the removal of so many repainting, has brought to light the remains of the original drafts.

Day 3: Verona - Padua

Verona and Padua a one-day religious experience of faith

In the morning you will be transferred to Verona to visit the Santuario della Madonna di Lourdes, located on the hills of St. Leonard.

The building is a peace place that offers plenty of photo opportunities and is one of the greatest sightseeing stops in Verona. Tourists could admire the colorful gardens and small pathways which lead to the Adige River.

In the afternoon you will continue to Padua for the visit of the city. The tour will include the important churches and basilicas, following an itinerary which goes from the Cathedral and the Baptistery, to the Basilica of Saint Anthony, the Basilica of Saint Justina and the Sanctuary of Saint Leopold.

Day 4: Turin and Graglia

The Holy Shroud and the Black Madonna – A day excursion in Turin and Graglia

An exciting day of discovery awaits you! First stop you will travel to Turin. You will explore the city's major monuments and Piazza Castello with its beautiful buildings. A highlight of the day will be the Cathedral and Museum of the Holy Shroud.

The Shroud Museum is unique in the world, it has the aim of pursuing the devotion spread, study and knowledge of the sacred linen. Its rooms show full details on the research on the Shroud conducted since 500, and deepen into historical scientific, devotional and artistic aspects.

After lunch you will continue to the Santuario Santa Maria di Loreto in Graglia, located at 2,664 feet above sea level with splendid panoramic views of the Elva Valley. In Graglia you will see the statue of the Black Madonna of Loreto.

Day 5: Milan -  Bologna - Florence

Day 6: Florence and Siena

Florence and Siena walking tour: Art and faith

This morning you will have the possibility to admire the most famous religious places of Florence

Piazza del Duomo marks Florence’s religious heart, home to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (the Duomo) the Campanile, or "bell tower"; and the Battistero, or Baptistery.

Although many masterpieces inside the Cathedral have been transferred to the Museum Opera del Duomo, you can still admire the works of great artists such as Michelangelo, Donatello, Niccolò da Tolentino, Andrea del Castagno, Vasari, Zuccaro, Antonio Del Pollaiuolo and Paolo Uccello. However, the most spectacular achievement in Santa Maria del Fiore is definitely Brunelleschi’s dome.

In the early afternoon you will transfer to Siena for a visit that will mix art and sacredness.

The guided tour will let you admire the Basilica of San Domenico, with the sacred relic of St. Catherine, and will take you on a stroll through the enchanting city center.

Day 7: Florence - Rome

In the afternoon a Private English Speaking Guide will lead you on a walking tour of the historic central Rome, including Campidoglio, St. Maria Aracoeli, Chiesa del Gesu’, St. Ignazio, Pantheon, St. Maria Sopra Minerva, St. Agostino, Piazza Navona and St. Agnese

Day 8: Rome

Private  Vatican Museums - Skip the Line Access

The tour will start skipping the line at the Vatican Museums, one of the largest museum complexes in the world. Located in the grand and magnificent Vatican Palaces, there are over 7 kilometers of galleries to be seen. They display works from the immense collection built up by the Roman Catholic Church throughout the centuries, including some of the most renowned classical sculptures and most important masterpieces of Renaissance art in the world. The galleries will lead you to the breath taking Sistine Chapel, famous for its architecture and its decoration that was frescoed throughout by Renaissance  artists including Michelangelo, Sandro Botticelli, Pietro Perugino, Pinturicchio and others. It is without doubt one of the greatest art treasures of all time, one of the most celebrated masterpieces in the world.  Dress Code: Entrance into the Basilica's and the Vatican Museums require a strict dress code. Shoulders and knees must be covered, no low cut or sleeveless tops or shorts for both men and women. Clients that do not adhere to the dress code may not be permitted entry to the Basilica's or the Vatican Museums. Our company will not be held responsible for entry denied due to improper dress.

Day 9: Rome

The Basilicas of Rome

This full day tour will be dedicated to the visit of the most important Basilicas of the Roman Christianity.

The tour will include the visit of the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem that keeps the Relics of the Passion of Jesus in the Chapel of Relics upstairs the left aisles. The most famous ones are the fragments of the Holy Cross of Jesus, found by St. Helena on Calvarium in Jerusalem, St. John Lateran. It is here that St. Francis persuaded Pope Innocent III to give permission to begin the Franciscan Order. Nearby is the Holy Stair, the legendary stairs which Christ climbed prior to be convicted by Pontius Pilate, St. Maria Maggiore the largest church in Rome dedicated to the Blessed Mother, St. Lawrence outside the walls, an ancient basilica with a wealth of early Christian artifacts. You will conclude with a brief visit of Coliseum from outside.
