The Museum is located in Peggy's former home, Palazzo Venier dei Leoni on the Grand Canal and presents Peggy Guggenheim's personal collection with masterpieces by the most important avant-garde European artists such as Picasso, Braque, Ernst, Miro' and Magritte together with American abstract expressionist Jackson Pollock.
