Etna Off Road - Between Nature and Traditions in Half Day
Join us on an exciting adventure on the slopes of Etna, the majestic "Muntagna". Our tour begins by traversing picturesque villages, ancient witnesses of the rich Sicilian traditions, immersed in the unique atmosphere of the Etna Park. Throughout the tour, you will have the opportunity to walk along the ridges of dormant craters, unveiling the secrets of the structure and volcanic activity of Etna. Together, we will discover the wonders of a lava flow cave, exploring it in total safety. We will then ascend with our off-road vehicles along the traces of ancient lava flows, reaching panoramic points from which to admire breathtaking views.
During the ascent, we will observe how the vegetation changes with increasing altitude, transitioning from lava flows to a mosaic of biodiversity: apple orchards, cherry orchards, vineyards, hazelnut groves, chestnut woods, oak forests, holm oaks, junipers, turkey oaks, downy oaks, pines, birches, beeches, and much more. We will explore enchanted places like the Dogale, islands of land and vegetation miraculously spared by the lava, and Piano Provenzana, with its view of the azure Ionian Sea and the traces of the 2002 lava flow.
