PRIVATE - ALGHERO CITY TOUR AND NEPTUNE CAVES
Pick up at hotel and transfer to Alghero city centre for a
walking city tour of the Old Town, strongly influenced by
urban and cultural interventions that took place during the
Catalan Aragonese (XIV - XVIII sec.) rule. The city conserves
evidence of such period in the oldest architecture, in the
ramparts, in the portions of the walls, palaces but especially
in valuable religious monuments in Catalan Gothic style, like
the church and cloister of San Francesco. Free time for lunch
In the afternoon we will visit the famous Neptune Grottos, one of the largest marine caves in Italy and one of the most
captivating gems of nature in the Mediterranean.
