Once you are happy and satisfied with the visit of the Museums it will be time to head towards the most significant church of all Christianity which spectacular dome can be seen from all over Rome: Saint Peter Basilica Built on the site of St. Peter’s crucifixion and over his tomb it’s the epicenter of the Catholic Church and the burial place of many popes, including Pope John Paul II.
Time for a break and lunch before heading towards the Colosseum Archeological Park and embarking into a journey back in time, to the glorious days of what was once a great empire, inside the iconic Flavian Amphitheater and in the beating heart of ancient Rome. You will continue to the Roman Forum, which for centuries was the center of Roman public life, and the tour will end on top of the Palatine Hill where the city of Rome was founded in the 753BC and where the history of the greatest empire in the world begun.
