Alberobello, the unique fairytale town and its "trulli"

Alberobello is truly one of the prettiest cities in Italy with its historic center made entirely of trulli, fairy-tale-like houses so unique that they have made Alberobello a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The trulli are round in shape, have whitewashed walls and characteristic cone-shaped pointed roofs with layered tiles, made of local gray stone. They are very an ancient type of construction which are still in use today as museums, shops and homes.

Accompanied by your private local guide you will discover the fascinating history of this charming town and visit the “Trullo Sovrano Museum, the largest trullo house ever built where you will have a deep understanding of how was living inside this unique buildings.
