On your arrival, you will be welcomed by your  private driver and reach the Archeological Site of Ancient Pompeii. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was once a seaside resort and party-town for ancient Romans until tragedy struck in October 79 AD, when Mt. Vesuvius famously erupted, burying the city, seaside and surrounding the whole area in volcanic ash.

Here, accompanied by your local expert you will admire all the structures typical of the Roman world as the main square or forum, baths, theaters, mansions with remains of frescoes from Roman times, the attraction of spectacular plaster casts containing bones of Pompeians that died during the disaster and will learn all about ancient romans daily life.

After the visit of  Pompeii you  will enjoy a little free time to grab something to eat before heading towards Sorrento

Sorrento is a charming town, known for its high quality handcraft products like delicious  limoncello liquor, as well as its spectacular views across the bay of Naples. The architecture is very picturesque with its numerous terracotta colored buildings, facing the high cliffs and the busy narrow streets filled with great gelato place and local artisans little boutique. Here you  will enjoy your free time before heading back towards Napoli.
